We’re Open for Business
Dear Friends,

While we never stopped working for you, we did temporarily end all in-person meetings while Georgians sheltered in place. Now, our doors have reopened, and we encourage those who need help to call or email us before coming in to clean between and stagger meetings. Like Georgians all across the state, we are practicing some basic safety measures, such as continued social distancing and enhanced sanitation, to ensure a healthy environment.

So please be safe, stay well, and let us know how we can help!

This Week: Hice, The Hill, & the Smoking Gun

Over the last couple of weeks, we have received new documents that verified everything we suspected about the bogus claims of “Russian collusion.”

After a years-long court fight, the legal defense team of Michael Flynn – the war hero and former National Security Adviser to President Trump – made public a series of FBI documents revealing the extent to which a group of Obama Deep State officials unfairly targeted and mistreated Flynn in a blatant attempt to undermine President Trump. These revelations were so explosive that Attorney General Bill Barr and the Justice Department dropped all charges against Flynn.

The Flynn case was just the first domino to fall over recent days. “Russian collusion” has been the core battle cry of Democrats and Trump-haters in the media alike for three years. No more.

As more and more information continues to pore out, the Deep State’s misconduct has become impossible to deny.

More is expected in the coming days.

Best in Class

As we take time to express our gratitude to Georgia’s educators, it is fitting that the Hice Headliner for the month of May is Mrs. Cayce Waters, who serves as the lower school principal at Hebron Christian Academy in Dacula, Georgia.

Described as a person who “continues to smile and shed joy” even in difficult times, Mrs. Waters is well-loved by teachers, parents, and students alike.  According to one parent, Mrs. Cayce has an “infectious personality that makes you feel comfortable whenever you’re in her presence.” A teacher described her as proactive, engaging, and someone who readily makes herself available for encouragement and support. “It's easy to follow her leadership, and I’m thankful for her example to us each day,” she said. “She is real and personal and puts into practice what she expects.”

On behalf of families in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District, thank you, Mrs. Waters and to educators everywhere, who are shaping the hearts and minds of the next generation.

In Case You Missed It
I had the pleasure of interviewing my good friend, and Chairman of the Freedom Caucus, Congressman Andy Biggs from the great state of Arizona.

In this episode, Andy sheds light on some of the latest happenings in Washington and how Speaker Pelosi’s latest shenanigans prevented House Freedom Caucus members from bettering new coronavirus relief funding. He breaks it all down, and we discuss the pressing need for states to allow their economy to reopen safely and swiftly.

Class Act

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week, and I want to recognize and celebrate Georgia’s incredible educators. Teachers are some of the most influential people in the lives of our children – serving not merely as instructors, but often as mentors, encouragers, counselors, and friends.

They routinely go above and beyond, giving of their own time and resources to create a fun, educational learning experience. And this spring was no different, even with the abrupt end to the physical school year. From preparing home lessons to hosting virtual classrooms to organizing teacher car parades and parking lot drive-throughs, our educators have worked with commitment and creativity to ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed.

To every administrator, educator, and support staff, thank you for all that you do!

As always if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,
