Baldwin County Childcare Provider Receives Hice Headliner Award
Congressman Jody Hice (GA-10) recently presented the Hice Headliner Award for the month of May to Lisa Frashier, Center Director of Childcare Network #214 in Milledgeville, Georgia. With 25 years of childcare experience and a passion for working with children and families, Lisa ensured that the center remained open and safely operating throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. “When Georgia began business closures and social distancing as a means to combat the spread of COVID-19, Childcare Network #214 never closed its doors,” said Congressman Hice. “Instead, under Lisa’s leadership, the daycare center put enhanced sanitation and safety procedures into place, giving essential working parents the peace of mind that their children are in good hands. Thank you, Lisa, and every instructor, teacher, and childcare provider who serve Georgia’s children with care and compassion day in and day out. It’s not just one person, but a team of people, who make exceptional learning centers, such as Childcare Network #214, a joy in which to work and play.” “We have truly been blessed,” said Lisa Frashier. “I could not have done any of this without my amazing staff. This center could not run day-to-day without them!” To nominate an outstanding individual who is making a positive impact in your community, please send an email to Jessica.Hayes@mail.house.gov. ### |

Help with a Federal Agency
One of the most important things I do as a U.S. Representative is help people with federal problems. Although I cannot override the decisions made by a federal agency, I can often intervene on a person’s behalf to answer questions, find solutions, or just cut through the red tape. Please know that I cannot force an agency to act in favor of a constituent. However, I can help communicate the circumstances and request that they take appropriate actions to assist you.
